Our Mission
Nivio exists to redefine how athletic performance is understood. We believe athletes deserve access to real-time, physiological insight that goes beyond guesswork, lab tests, and outdated metrics.
By building non-invasive biosensing technology for continuous lactate monitoring, Nivio aims to empower athletes, coaches, and researchers to train smarter, recover more effectively, and extend performance longevity.
Why We Built Nivio
Nivio began with a simple question: why is one of the most powerful indicators of human performance still locked behind invasive testing and controlled lab environments?
As athletes ourselves, we saw firsthand how training decisions were often driven by intuition rather than data — not because better insights didn’t exist, but because they weren’t accessible in real time.
Nivio was founded to bridge that gap — bringing cutting-edge biosensing out of the lab and into the environments where performance actually happens.
Founders
Nivio is built by two brothers united by a shared belief that performance, when understood deeply, can be trained with intention rather than guesswork.
Mahilan Guha (Co-Founder)
Mahilan is currently a Freshman at the University of Pennsylvania. Currently focused on biosensing, data analysis, and translating complex physiological signals into meaningful insights. Driven by a fascination with the intersection of biology, engineering, and performance.
Deyaan Guha (Co-Founder)
Deyaan is currently a Senior at Brandeis University. Focused on product vision, athlete experience, and ensuring that Nivio’s technology integrates seamlessly into real training workflows. Committed to building tools that athletes actually want to use.
